Jazz!!!

On Wednesday 19th March we had Jazz with Richard Michael in school. We practised a tune and Richard named it “A Cool One for Kitty”.

On Thursday 20th March Richard Michael  had two other visitors with him, related to Jazz. Their names were Sue and Mike and they both played the saxaphone to us and showed us all of the buttons. The bit that you blew into was the mouth peice and to make the saxaphone make a sound they had something called a reed.

On Friday 21st March Richard Michael, Sue and Mike came again and since it was Sports Relief Day, we learnt to play the match of the day theme tune. We then practised Ariba. At the end of the jazz session Richard Michael told us that we are going to Inverurie to play the tunes that we have learnt in a concert with all the other schools who have been getting jazz lessons.
