On Friday we had Mr Paterson, from the Aberdeen Urban Studies Trust, came in to show us World War 2 artefacts, he also brought booklets for us to complete. The booklets were about school; Morrison,  Anderson and concrete shelters; bombing; head wear and civilian identification. Gregor and I completed five booklets. We looked at a video and some pictures. He also showed us shrapnel, blackout curtains and an incendiary bomb!!!! It was a dud though so it didn’t explode. It was very interesting to find out about history by looking at things that were used at the time.
